The crepe bandage comes in three different types (light, medium and elastic) to cater to the retention and protection of wound dressings, as well as provide assistance in standard immobilisation and compression bandage techniques.

These standard conforming bandages can be used to protect gauze bandages or gauze wraps placed around a wound and can easily adapt to support and strengthen the area of the injury. Remember - protecting gauze dressings is paramount to avoiding infection in the wound.

Contraindications and Precautions
Any wound and gauze dressings underneath cotton compression bandages should be changed daily, or more often, according to the condition of the wound. Seek medical advice immediately for all serious wounds and burns. If redness or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.
