The Challenge
PACT Group was seeking to streamline its procurement process for workwear, PPE, and consumables, issuing an RFP to vendors capable of supporting over 5,000 employees across 70 sites in Australia. Historically, PACT had sourced from multiple suppliers, resulting in a fragmented supply chain and inconsistent product quality and branding across sites and divisions.
Their goal was to consolidate these suppliers into a single, strategic partnership that could provide a standardised product range, enhancing safety, control and brand image. Additionally, PACT faced issues with communication, delayed orders, and stock shortages, while also feeling neglected by larger suppliers who offered limited flexibility, minimal personal service, and little innovation support. This prompted PACT to search for a vendor capable of addressing these gaps and delivering efficiency, flexibility, and genuine care.
The Solution
SAYKA delivered a comprehensive, one-stop solution for PACT Group by providing a consolidated range of hi-vis workwear, corporate uniforms, PPE, and consumables that met all safety requirements and site-specific preferences. To ensure this, SAYKA visited 30 key locations across PACT’s four divisions, gaining an in-depth understanding of their diverse operational needs.
To streamline the procurement process, a punchout catalogue was integrated with PACT’s ERP system, improving both efficiency and control. By offering in-house embroidery and printing, lead times for branded workwear and uniforms were reduced by half. Additionally, same-day dispatch was made available for PPE and consumables. SAYKA-owned brands enabled PACT to access premium-quality products at competitive prices, supported by increased buying power and a generous rebate program.
