We prioritise mental health and strive to foster a positive and supportive culture among our staff and customers. To achieve this goal, we collaborate with esteemed organizations like The Black Dog Institute and MATES in Construction. By designing products and participating in conversations that help break down the barriers and stigmas associated with mental health. Our commitment to this cause underscores our dedication to promoting overall well-being and creating a healthy workplace environment for everyone.

Black Dog Institute has a clearly articulated vision for a mentally healthier world. This vision guides their 2022-2026 strategy to deliver research with real-world impact to treat, manage and prevent common mental health conditions and suicide in workplaces, schools, health settings and the wider community. As the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan, its aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone. $2 from every Black Hard Hat sold and $1 from every Black Dog Cut D Glove sold will be donated to the Black Dog Institute.

SAYKA is a proud supporter of Mates in Construction and provides regular substantial financial contributions to help support the work that the organisation does across the Construction, Mining, and Energy Sectors.

One of the hardest parts about mental health is breaking the stigma around open conversations. Sometimes all it takes is the simple question that might save a life “R U RITEMATE?”

On the back of each shirt is the “R U RITEMATE” badge that asks the question. Coupled with a hibiscus pattern, the shirts are designed to encourage a discussion that can be had in a relaxed and open forum.

In support of mental health charities, $1 from every shirt sold from this range will be donated to a variety of mental health charities to spread the love.
